At BIOS-sport, race preparation means preparing the car and the engine and the driver.

Attention to detail, regular inspection and preventative maintenance are key to success at any level of motor sport. This philosophy is especially important in historic and classic racing, as older cars do not have fixed maintainance schedules and are often less well understood. Every aspect of a race car should be examined for possible areas of failure.

We at BIOS-sport are very proud of our 100% finishing record.

As engine builders, we keep an accurate log of mileage and carry out compression and vacuum tests and cylinder head inspections at regular intervals. It is unrealistic to expect a competition engine to be at peak performance for a whole season without maintainance.

To win races, the driver must be able to get and use the maximum performance out of the car, or know the reason why he can't. Often this will require a deeper understanding of what is actually happening and as drivers with racing experience, we can help with this, sometimes rather black, art.
